Routenburn Golf Club

Routenburn Golf Club is a privately run golf club which holds competitions and medals for members over Routenburn Golf Course which is a municipal course owned and run by North Ayrshire Leisure. The course was designed by the well known golf architect James Braid.

It is an 18 hole course and is a very good test of golf over quite a hilly terrain and although it has six par three holes the are quite difficult to score over.

Although the fees for 2009/2010 have not been confirmed as yet the committee are confident that they can keep the cost of these to members to under £400 for persons under 60 years of age and for those over 60 they will be approximately £250. These prices include the cost of a season ticket for the course which also gives access to Ravenspark Golf Course in Irvine.
