Business as usual for Largs hotel despite development plans

The Queens Hotel in Largs is open for business as usual, despite plans which could see the Brisbane Street building demolished.

Proposals have been submitted to North Ayrshire Council by MPB Structures which would see the hotel demolished and replaced by a four-storey block of 12 flats, similar in style to the nearby Millennium Court. However, it is understood that there are no immediate plans to demolish the hotel, and the application is still at a very early stage.
