Eddi Reader to headline Largs Live 2012

Feel a-live in Largs this weekend with a brand new music festival, headed by Eddi Reader!

The three-day Largs Live 2012 kicks off on Friday, June 29. There will be a variety of live bands to suit every music taste, ranging from classic rockers Big Licks, to the east European jazz-influenced Duffy’s Gypsy band, to our very own Largs Accordion Group.

There is also the colourful Street Theatre Parade, which is set for Saturday and includes a giant inflatable caterpillar, butterfly street performers, Viking Festival, music from the BB Pipe Band and much more!

Other highlights include the Kelburn Garden Party, which you can find out more about and book tickets for here.

If you’re heading along to the festivities, why not take lots of photos and videos and share them here with the local community on s1largs? It doesn't matter if it's a quick snapshot taken on a phone, it will be nice for everyone to see it and be proud of the town.

All you have to do is got the s1largs home page, click the 'News' tab on the right under ‘Get Involved!’ and upload your stories, pictures and videos for everyone to see!
