Largs A78 sea wall to be repaired after storms
A lane of the A78 has been closed to allow for repair work to a sea wall, which was damaged by high tides and extreme high winds.
Following the extreme weather conditions that battered the country on Tuesday morning (January, 3), Amey are working to rebuild four sections of the wall.
Amey will work throughout daylight hours between Holmwood Court and Danefield Lodge until the road is safe to reopen.
It is hoped that the restrictions will be lifted by Monday subject to ongoing weather conditions and other factors like the tide.
Temporary traffic signals are being operated during peak times to limit any journey time disruptions.
