Largs Yuletide is back on!

Largs Yuletide has been rescheduled for Wednesday, December 14th!

Just a few days ago, s1largs reported that the popular Christmas shopping event and Santa Parade had to be cancelled last Thursday (December, 8) because of the wild weather.

Thankfully, the storm has passed and we are delighted to tell you that the late-night shopping, Santa’s Parade and all the rest of the merriment is back on.

As was planned before, the parade will emerge from Gallowgate Lane at 6.15pm and proceed into the M&Co car park, where there will be live entertainment.

Accompanying Mr Claus, will be the Boys Brigade pipe band, some vicious vikings, stars from this year's panto Beauty and the Beast and various local businesses.

The shops, open from 6.30pm, will be warming those bellies by providing hot chestnuts and mulled wine.

Santa will be based at his grotto at Lounge in Main Street from about 6.45pm onwards.
