Petrol shortage in Largs as station’s future uncertain

Largs petrol station has suffered a shortage of petrol and diesel after going into receivership.

Drivers have been unable to access fuel at the station on Irvine Road, as administrators zolfocooper hold discussions with petrol suppliers.

A spokesperson said: "We are speaking to all the suppliers, and expect to remedy the situation very soon.

"We hope to arrange something with Esso, and hope to have fuel in Largs by Wednesday if not earlier."
